Here's a collection of photos from when us 3rd years had to curate the works of fellow students and tutors works for the exhibition 'Rakanui' held at Maia Gallery on the 5th of July.
First we had to clean the floors of paint, repaint the walls white and black and then move on to organising the works and wall space. It's awesome collaboratively curating as we have several pairs of eyes and minds and we usually end up with an awesome gallery space to walk through.

This wall is regarded as the 'main' wall as its the first wall the public looks at when entering the space. We usually spend the day rearranging and making sure the works are evenly spaced and hung at eye level.

The following are a couple pics of the public enjoying the works on opening night!
